How it works. Session windows use local exchange hours (Tokyo 9:00–18:00, London 8:00–17:00, New York 8:00–17:00) with daylight saving applied, and the London–New York overlap is tracked separately. Live session figures use 5-minute bars. Statistics use hourly bars covering roughly the last 10 months; sessions with missing data (holidays, thin trading) are left out. "Broke 1st-hour high/low" means price later traded beyond the high or low of the session's first hour; "run beyond" is the furthest it went past that first-hour range. The trading day runs from 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM New York time. Daily ATR(14) uses the data provider's UTC daily candles.
